Want to help support the work we do? Want to see more resources, events, and authors at the Mt. Pleasant Library? The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library supports the local library in Mt. Pleasant, NC by helping to sponsor activities, purchasing needed materials, and raising community involvement and awareness for our local library. Join us!

Membership Information:

The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library want you to join us in our support of our community library. We are a non-profit group of citizens who work together to create a greater interest and use of the library and to acquaint the community with the events, resources, facilities, and needs of the public library. We sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of our community, and we advocate for our library in the county and the community.

The Friends assist with monetary support and volunteers throughout the year with the following programs:

 Summer Reading Programs

 Meet the Author Events

 Craft and creativity events

 Special speakers and events

 Staff Appreciation Events

 Library needs such as technology and furniture items

 Book purchases to improve library collection

Your friendship ensures that we will be able to continue our programs and keep our library strong. Thank you for enriching our community!
